Eze. 33:1-6: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Amended Pesach Dates - 2019.

This blog is addressed as an amendment to my blog dated April 5 2019 which gave provisional dates for the Pesach moed for this year.

As stipulated in that blog the dates were conditional and depended on when the new moon was sighted in Jerusalem.

There appears, according to two witnesses, (1. https://www.facebook.com/HaleviTeacher/ & 2. http://www.renewedmoon.com), to have been just one un-official sighting of the New Moon in Israel and thus without the second credible witness to the sighting of the new moon that sighting could not be considered as a credible witness to the establishing of the beginning of the Year (Dev (Deut.) 19:15; 2 Cor. 13:1-2; Shem. (Ex.) 12:2), and, as stated above, in support of our decision to not call out 1 Abib last night sundown we have 2 credible witnesses to the fact that there was indeed just one unconfirmed sighting and therefore we rest in that fact, therefore by default Sunday evening of 7 April at sundown, according to the Gregorian reckoning, the first of Abib shall recommend and from this date we will establish the rest of the Mo'edim dates.

Here-with the amended dates, please take special note of the differing date for Shavuot now that the date determine 1 Abib has been amended:

First Day of Biblical Year (Day 1 of Month 1): April 7th @ sundown (Shem. (Ex.) 12:2)
· Passover/Pesach Seder (Day 14 of Month 1): April 20th @ sundown (this year on weekly Shabbat) and this bumps straight into….
· First Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread/Chag HaMatzot* (Day 15 of Month 1): April 21st sundown till 22nd sundown.
· First Fruits (Day after the Shabbat - Vay. (Lev.) 23:11) from sundown 27th April till sundown 28th April.
· Begin Counting the Omer (Weeks) (7 complete weeks starting with Wave Sheaf Day - Vay. (Lev.) 23:15-16): April 28th - until June 15th @ sundown
· Last Day of Feast of Unleavened Bread/Chag HaMatzot (Day 21 of Month 1 - Vay. (Lev.) 23:8): April 27th @ sundown (on weekly Shabbat) until sundown 28th April.
· Feast of Pentecost/Shavuot * (50th Day starting with Wave Sheaf Day): June 16th @ sundown.

NB: REMEMBER TO REMOVE ALL LEAVEN BEFORE EVENING OF 14 ABIB, 20 April, which according to our reckoning is a Shabbat, so may I suggest that the leaven is all removed by sundown 19 April 2019 (Shem. (Ex.) 12:15).

Please study these dates carefully giving all due diligence and reassurance as to their accuracy, or indeed inaccuracy and thereby showing yourselves pleasing to YHWH.

Shalom to all.

Bo'az
