Eze. 33:1-6: Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

Parashat Re'eh & False Teachers

As we look at this weeks’ Parashat entitled - Re’eh - (H7200 - ra’ah - to see, literally or fig in many applications) advise self; approve; behold, consider, experience, gaze; take heed) - SEE -

“SEE I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse..” Deut. 11:26

It may behoove us to note that the translators translated the keeping of YHWH’s commandments (plural)  as a singular blessing, and the disobeying of His commandments (plural) as a singular curse! Deut. 11:26–28 arw James 2:10.

I think we can all agree that YHWH’s Word, embodied and lived out in Yeshua our Messiah IN BOTH REAL TIME AND ETERNITY, is indeed eternal and never changing - So if we see, gaze, consider, experience, take heed that YHWH is setting before us today A BLESSINGS AND A CURSE we may need to perk up a little, and amongst other questions, possibly ask ourselves:-

Do we truly have a LOVE FOR THE TRUTH (YESHUA)? 2 Thes. 2:10-12

Do we truly have a longing to WALK AS HE WALKED WHEN HE WAS ON EARTH? Mat. 16:24

CAN AN ETERNAL & NEVER CHANGING ELOHIM SUDDENLY CHANGE AS THE DENOMINATIONAL ECCLESIA INCESSANTLY TELL US AND THEN LIE TO US? Num. 23:19; Mal. 3:6; Heb. 13:8; Jas. 1:17

DOES YHWH HAVE TWO COVENANTS? ONE FOR THE JEWS AND ONE EXACTLY OPPOSITE FOR THE “EX-GENTILES”?

DOES YHWH ELOHIM HAVE TWO WIVES? ONE FOR YHWH OF THE OLD TESTAMENT AND ONE FOR THE NEW TESTAMENT?

As said, these and many, many more questions are in dire need of being addressed and truthfully answered in this late hour - questions NOT TO BE ADDRESSED & ANSWERED BY THE THEOLOGIANS AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS, BUT ADDRESSED & ANSWERED BY EACH OF US INDIVIDUALLY AFTER OUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE AND EXAMINATION OF THE SCRIPTURES THROUGH HIS RUACH; AND YES EVEN IF WE ARE THEOLOGIANS AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS - POSSIBLY, OR I SHOULD RATHER SAY, ESPECIALLY IF WE ARE THEOLOGIANS AND RELIGIOUS LEADERS - WE TOO SHOULD ASK THESE SEARCHING AND PENETRATING QUESTIONS SO AS NOT TO MISLEAD HIS FLOCK AND SUFFER HIS WRATH! Eze. 34; Mat. 24:4-5, Jude 1:4, 8-13

Brethren, Sisters do not expect to stand one day before Yeshua and try and pin the blame on your Pastor (or whatever you may call him). It did not work with Adam and Chavah (Gen. 3) and it will not work with us either!

Pastor, Teachers, Dominees’ please don’t try bringing up your “good works” before Yeshua in Jesus Name, that too will not help one iota! Mat. 7:21-23

I know many out there who will read this, if indeed they have not deleted it before they even get this far, are so comfortable with with their lives, social stations and general well being that a relationship with The Creator Yeshua and His Father YHWH is at best secondary and in most cases just simply superfluous and no amount of evidence is going to wake them up - that is each persons responsibility before YHWH Elohim!

The watchmen are shouting - are we heeding them?

Or are we just lukewarm and hoping because we are “in HIS Will” (in our opinions) and hearing nothing from YHWH we are OK? Rev. 3:14-22.

We have entered the time of Teshuvah (Hebrew period of self analysis and repentance (return) in our relationship with Yeshua before Yom Kippur - Day of Atonement) and although Teshuvah is not a mandated act it does seem to have been a practice that was used in Biblical times and which was seemingly not frowned upon - so please read this weeks parashat and the embedded teaching presented on Deuteronomy 13 with prayer in supplication and thanks giving - and make up your own minds.

Here is a link to something I penned quite a while ago, it may be insightful. (http://theshofarblows-steve.blogspot.com/2013/11/stone-your-rebellious-sons_6885.html

The watchman can only cry out and blow his shofar - what those who hear this blast, this cry, do with this alarm is their choice - BUT THEIR BLOOD IS NO LONGER ON THE HANDS OF THE WATCHMAN. Eze. 33

Shalom in Messiah Yeshua
