The Rule of Law.

What has been is what will be,

and what has been done is what will be done,

and there is nothing new under the sun. (ESV emphasis mine)

With Ecc. 1:9 in mind let us have a look at a few salient points we may really need to consider at this time:

No matter which way we try to cut the cake the word translated as "nothing" in the quoted Scripture, means precisely that ...Nothing - no single thing, nil, zero, zip, nada, nought, nothing at all!

Similarly the word "new" also means precisely that ... New, - introduced for the first time; not existing before: BUT the same Hebrew word translated as NEW -  is just as correctly translated to read - to rebuild, to renew, to repair!

Using the Word to translate the Word Ecc. 1:9 seemingly sheds an entirely different light on the context and exegeses of the Christian Denominational interpretation of the "New Testament" does it not?

Another point we may wish to consider is the fact that YHWH the Creator of the Heavens and the Earth worked (Created) for six days, and on the Seventh Day (Shabbat) He rested from His Works (Gen. 2:2).

The word translated as "rested" - H7673 - Shabath = to repose, that is, desist, cease, celebrate, make to rest is also translated in the KJV as "consume" (Gen. 41:30; Ex. 32:10); as "finished" (Ex. 40:32-33; Ruth 3:18); as "done" (Gen. 24:15; Is. 24:13) and also "accomplished", "ended", "fulfilled".

I believe it is rather evident that taking into consideration the various translations noted above for the word Shabath, we can with reasonable and considered safety assume that when YHWH the Creator rested on the 7th Day (Shabbat) HE HAD COMPLETED ALL - YES ALL - HIS ETERNAL WORKS AND THERE WOULD NEVER AGAIN BE ANYTHING NEW UNDER THE SUN! We have Scriptural confirmation of this conclusion recorded in Heb. 4:3-4 quoting Ps. 95.

Did this then mean that YHWH the Creator, having completed HIS myriad of works, now placed creation on Auto-pilot, took an eternal Shabbat rest and left us to our own devices? Heaven forbid NO!  We are told in essence that The Creator had just planted the seed of His Eternal Works and Will and now He was about to Teach us, those HE Created in His Image, how to "dress" and "keep" HIS Garden (Creation) - we need to remember that He is the Farmer Who would be The Carpenter.  Reading Heb. 4:1-13 arw Ps. 95 we see that we who are alive today have the same Gospel preached to us that our forefathers in the Wilderness had preached to them (The Torah crowd), but because of their hardness of heart and lack of faith they could never enter His Rest, His Promised Land:  We too are cautioned today to not harden our hearts either because we too have not as yet entered into HIS eternal Seventh Day Rest!

Before His rest, YHWH created, for our very existence and His Glory, a world with all that would ever be required to meet, and indeed surpass, our every need and expectation whilst He trained us in both the physical and spiritual aspects of His Will so that we could rule with Him.  

Well we sinned (broke HIS Law 1 John 3:4) and fell short of His Glory, but this, as we all know, had already been factored into His Creation Seed before the Foundations of the earth were laid (1 Pet. 1:18-20; Rev. 13:8) and His plan therefore still calls for us to one day rule with Him here on Earth beginning with the Millennium Rule, The Seventh Day Rest.  These created provisions YHWH provided for us included time, space, molecular structures, atomic absolutes, genetic boundaries, spiritual authorities, principalities, and redemption with still much more all ensconced within HIS Eternal Rule of Law which would lead us to eternity and Marriage with the Lamb should we accept His offer of Salvation. (Col. 1:14-20 as read with Ex. 4:22 & Heb. 1:1-4:  John 12:44-50 & Rom. 6:1-4 arw John 5:45-46 & 1 John 3:4).

Oh, but the arrogance and stupidity of fallen mankind snared and trapped us, the finite and corruptible created beings, into assuming that our ignorant and fleshy minds, knew more and better than the Infinite Creator, just a Chava thought she knew better and later showed through her actions in the Garden (Gen. 3)!  So in the attempt to wake us up it behooves me to ask each and every person reading this missive to please make the time to read the answer that YHWH gave Job in Job 38:1-42:6 when Job thought that he may have known better than YHWH Elohim; please bear in mind dear reader, that this is the very same Job Whom YHWH spoke of in His Heavenly Assembly describing him to Hasatan as a perfect and upright servant with no peer (Job 1:8).  Have any of you been described as such by YHWH?  I know I have not!

Now having arrived at this very late hour in History, the entire creation seems to be standing on the cusp of a monumental clash between two very differing yet related K/kingdoms - the Kingdom of Light and Life and the kingdom of darkness and death.  The Kingdom of Eternity with Messiah and the kingdom of separation from Him and joining man with Hasatan.  The Kingdom of Eternal Law and Order and the kingdom of mans' lawlessness, all described so succinctly in Ps. 1:4-6 & Ps. 2:1-9.

We, because of our fleshy natures, have a destructive tendency to relax in our complacency and comfort zones like both the Wise and Foolish Virgins, and are apt to forget that we are in the world but we are not a part of it (Matt. 25:1-13; John 15:18-19; Rom. 12:1-2).  

We are apt to also believe, or falsely assume, that because we are "born-again" it will all be sunshine and roses in this life - BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE! Sanctification is a noun describing the process of bringing back the redeemed sinner to The Rule of Law - NOT THE PROCESS OF GIVING US OUR FLESHLY DESIRES!

In the Rule of Law your evidence can only be accepted in a Judicial hearing if you are a witness to the event under examination:  A witness not able to speak out of experience can at best only offer inadmissible here-say evidence or at worst purger himself by lying and be declared a "hostile witness"!  

How is your testimony, does it have the authority of firsthand experience of wrestling with YHWH whilst HE returns you to The Rule of Law, or is it just plain and simple here-say? The very best of intentions can never ever change the Truth!  You are either a Truthful witness or you are not - full stop!

We need to understand that The Creator never ever wanted religion, He wanted a co-relationship with mankind from out of which a True and abiding eternal Worship would flow like streams of living water - (Gen. 1:26-29; John 7:37-39 arw Jer. 17:13 & John 8:3-11) ***

Brethren do not be naive, if you choose to walk the path of Messiah Yeshua you will be delivered out of Egypt as promised by mighty acts and deeds, which most likely will not be comfortable; you will come to stand before the Red Sea with the murderous armies of Egypt bearing down on you; you will walk in the wilderness; you will be brought to Mt. Sinai and offered the Marriage Covenant (Torah); you will come to stand before the unconquerable and impenetrable walls of Jericho; you will learn to never trust in the arm of flesh: You will be delivered of yourself and of all your idols of Ba'al - YOU WILL SUFFER PERSECUTION - and then YOU WILL BEGIN TO KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF ELOHIM & DEVELOP A TESTIMONY OF MESSIAH:  YOU WILL LEARN TO WAIT ON YHWH IN PATIENCE THROUGH & BY KEEPING THE COMMANDMENTS OF ELOHIM, AND THEN YOUR FAITH (FIDELITY - OBEDIENCE) WILL BEGIN TO MATCH THAT OF OUR BETROTHED MESSIAH YESHUA! (Rev. 12:17; Rev. 14:14) AND THE ENEMY WILL WAR AGAINST YOU BUT YOU WILL THEN BE A WORTHWHILE WITNESS FOR THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN WHO SPEAKS WITH THE AUTHORITY OF ONE HAVING FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE OF THE COVENANT (THE LAW) OF ELOHIM AND THE TESTIMONY OF MESSIAH YESHUA'S LEADING THROUGH HIS SPIRIT!

In essence, the true Rule of Law dictates that nobody is above the Law; this even applies to YHWH Himself:  As The Father He submits to His Word Ps. 138:2(b); He will never change His Word Ps. 119:89; He will never break or alter His Covenant Ps. 89:34 & 105:8:  Yeshua never ever broke The Law, thus He was able to die for our sins as ELOHIM Himself John 15:10 & 1 John 3:5.

But dear reader, what about us, can we now break His Law - The Law both Yeshua and His Father keep eternally?  Well 1 John 2:1-6 says that if we keep the Word of YHWH we have an advocate in Messiah Yeshua and that we will then also know the Father, but if we do not keep His Commandments we are liars and the Truth of YHWH is not in us!  So what do we say then because to keep the Law cannot save us, yet if we do not keep the Law the Love of YHWH Elohim and His Truth is not in us?

We have arrived at what Rav Sha'ul (Paul) called the Mystery of the Gospel, the joining of our physical lives here on earth with the Rule of the Kingdom of Heaven governing us; the need to be melded with Messiah Yeshua and His Covenant so that we can learn to Rule with Him according to the Kingdom Rules of YHWH as planned from the very beginning and thus necessitating the need to be set apart as He intended also from the very beginning so that we can begin to expectantly call out with Reverence in True Covenant worship with The Spirit Of Elohim - Come Yeshua Come! (Eph. 5; Rev. 22:20).

Here is the answer to that Mystery of the Gospel - we need to be washed in the Blood of The Lamb of YHWH, The Seed of Life (1 Cor. 6:11; Rev. 1:5): THEN we need be baptised into the Death and Resurrection of Messiah Yeshua (Matt. 28:18-20 ). Once this first step of obedience has been taken we can then ask for the infilling of His Spirit (Acts 2:37-38) which will enable us to walk in His Torah in obedience to the leading of The Holy Spirit (Luke 24:32; John 14:26; 16:8-1); The Holy Spirit shall lead us in Truth and Righteousness, then and only then shall we begin to Worship in Spirit and in Truth.  The same Creator Spirit of Yeshua (Gen. 1:2), The same Spirit of the Father - The Ruach HaKodesh, The Sacred Wind and Breath of Life - The Inspiration of Life Who was guiding Moshe to pen The Torah and Who was The Initiator from The Father of Grace and Truth which came by Messiah Yeshua and enabled HIM to show us how to Walk in The Torah, The Rule of Law, That Royal Law! (John 1:17; Jas. 2:8). 

We all need The One and Only never changing Ruach HaKodesh - Who is the same yesterday, today and forever, to lead us in Spirit and Truth so that we are able to divide the Word of Truth and prove ourselves workers approved of by YHWH because remember there is nothing new under the Sun - only Repentance, Redemption, Restoration & Sanctification through the Blood of The Lamb, the keeping of The Commandments of Elohim and the Testimony of Messiah Yeshua which were The Rule of Law from the beginning! (2 Tim. 2:15; Rev. 12:11), That HE will lead us into!

***NB:  John 8:3-11 - Just for the record - The woman was not  granted a pardon for her sins contrary to The Torah's prescriptions by Yeshua - in actual fact she could not be tried according to Torah because there were no witnesses privy to her crime present, plus secondly the "offence" was not being brought before the Torah mandated Sanhedrin IN THE CORRECT LEGAL MANNER- this was a witch-hunt!  Where was the man complicit in the alleged adultery?  You see dear reader, had Yeshua agreed with the charge presented and offered a verdict HE WOULD HAVE BROKEN TORAH, SINNED AND PROVEN HIMSELF TO NOT BE THE SON OF YHWH, THE MESSIAH! Read vs. 10-11 YESHUA NEVER CONDONED HER ACTIONS, BUT HE COULD NOT, according to Torah, LEGALLY CONDEMN HER EITHER!
