We are only getting what we asked for!

The world is awash with reactions and opinions regarding the SCOTUS ruling in the case of Obergefell v. Hodges (Gay Marriages) and the effects that it will have both in the USA and internationally.

In my opinion this result was not only to be expected, but was possibly long overdue!

Am I in favour of the ruling?  

Absolutely not!

Can I fault the ruling from a political, humanistic and democratic viewpoint?  

Absolutely not!  The Supreme Court has basically given the people what they want! (Also here & here)

We have brought this abomination, plus all the rest including the demonic murder of unborn babies, upon ourselves -  IT WAS NEVER YHWH'S PLAN FOR MANKIND!

YHWH, The Father and Creator of mankind, in HIS Wisdom created man to have a position of relationship with HIM as Co-regent of HIS Creation: YHWH WAS TO BE THE SENIOR PARTNER AND PROVIDER in this Eternal Covenant. (Gen. 1:26-31).

Genesis 2 provides us with a more expounded explanation regarding the Creation of man and woman as we see outlined in Chapter 1:

1. We are shown the actual creative procedure of man as adopted by YHWH (Adam, not his wife Chava). (vs. 7)
2. We are privy to the first instructions YHWH gave to HIS New Creation partner - man (Adam, not his wife Chava). (vs. 15-17)
3. We are given audience to that handing over of the mantle of Authority over Creation from YHWH to Adam  (not his wife Chava). (vs. 19-20) 
4. We are afforded YHWH's reasoning for the creation of Woman, her eternal created role and her being presented to Adam by YHWH as his (Adam's) wife and helper in Adam's created role for Eternity. (vs. 20-25)  

In Genesis 2 We are not only privy to the first instructions given to Adam, we are also introduced to the very first Biblical institutions for our lives as YHWH's Co-regents in and through Yeshua Who, as we know, was crucified before the foundations of the Earth were even laid:

• The sanctification of the Sabbath, thereby sanctifying all who keep the Seventh Day Sabbath which is His Eternal Sign of His Covenant with Man and His Creation. (vs. 2-3; Ex. 20:8-11; 31:1217 - NB: Ex. 31:12 is very explicit YHWH HIMSELF spoke to Moshe - no ambiguity there)
• The Marriage, which was and still is, a Divine portrayal of Yeshua's Marriage to His Bride - a portrayal of the union of one man and one woman as sanctified and authorised by YHWH.  (vs. 21-25)

Unfortunately Genesis also graphically informs us of our fall from Grace and eternal consequences  thereof facilitating our entry into eternal damnation because of OUR SIN -the disobedience of YWHW's instructions and Covenant conditions - We decided to usurp HIS Authority - HE NEVER ABANDONED US OR HIS COVENANT! (Gen. 3)

It is important to note that Gen. 3:8-9 informs us that both Adam and Chava heard The Voice of YHWH calling in the cool of the day (relationship Covenant) - but YHWH called  Adam and inquired of him as to where they were - This occurred prior to the banishment from the Garden, and would thus suggest this was creation protocol - the man was the head of the House, an opinion that Sha'ul underscores in Eph. 5:22-32 & 1 Tim. 3:1-13  after the ratification by Blood of the Covenant by Messiah Yeshua!

If a law is wrong according to The Word of YHWH, it is wrong no matter what authority empowers it - NB: This includes authorities given by husbands to their wives to perform tasks outside their creative mandates, whether that authority be by affirmation or abdication. (Num. 30 compare this with Gen. 3:17)

We need to accept the fact that we are in a fallen world under the authorised sway and control of HaSatan - it has been so from the fall of man and shall be so until the return of Messiah Yeshua. We are not yet HIS BRIDE and to believe we are goes country to Scripture! (Matt. 25; Rev. 2:7; 11; 17; 26-28; 3:5; 12; 21)

We need to also accept that no political system governing today is worth the paper it is written on - AS ALL ARE BASED ON THE LOGIC AND INTERPRETATION OF MAN (Gen. 3:17) --- even democracy, which may be the best human system of governance in the world today, is entirely based on the opinions, authority and pleasure of HUMANISTICALLY  LIBERATED MAN - and is now reaching the fulfilment of  the lie chosen by Chava in the Garden! (Gen. 3:4-5)

As many of you may know we in the "Hebrew Roots/ Messianic / whatever your label for us may be movement" study the Torah (Genesis - Deuteronomy) on a annual or triennial cycle, and we are at this time approaching the Torah Portion referred to as Balak (Heb:-The Destroyer):  Basically this portion is about Israel just before the entry into the Promised Land and a King of the Moabites named Balak who is afraid of the Israelite people; he thus calls on a gentile prophet named Balaam (Heb:- Not of the people, a failure/nothing) and pays Balaam to come and curse the Israelites.  Balaam is unable to do this as YHWH has blessed the Israelites, so he, Balaam, offers King Balak a solution to the problem - GET THE ISRAELITES TO BREAK COVENANT WITH YHWH AND THEN YHWH HIMSELF WILL PUNISH/CURSE HIS OWN PEOPLE!  He suggests this be done by mixing things up with pagan relationships and practices! (Num. 22-25; Num. 31:16)  

NB: This very same parashat portion, Balak, is referred to in Rev. 2:14 (The Assembly of Pergamos)  and eluded to in Rev. 2:20. Jezebel and Balaam induce the same confusion and mixtures into the Assemblies of Messiah Yeshua in these end times!

We have repeatedly moved the goal posts of YHWH since the fall, but possibly never more though than since the Advent of Messiah Yeshua - and since then:

• We did away with the Sabbath and replaced it with a pagen day - the Sun-day.
• We changed His Name of Redemption and removed His Covenant Name (YHWH) from The Word.
• We replaced His Feast / Holy Days with pagen inspired festivals.
• We did away with His Diet (as did Chava in the Garden and so did the Children of Israel in The Balak Parashat and Revelation passages quoted above).
• We placed His Marriage under the illegal authority of the State:
• We achieved all this by entering into a  marriage covenant with Constantine and made him the head of the church, and adopted his rules for our lives and willingly brought ourselves under the illegal authority of the human governances and now accept their rulings over YHWH's!  We have made ourselves gods deciding what we will and what we will not adhere to and have thus become the slaves of society!

We have replaced the Instructions (Torah) of YHWH with our humanistic interpretations and have thereby all but obliterated any borders and divisions Sovereignly Instituted by YHWH in almost all areas of life, and not least we have followed the rules of Babel and made man and woman one by removing their Created roles - thus is it any wonder we are where we are now?

I know many will not agree with me, but be that as it may, we all need to work our salvation out with fear and trembling, and now possibly more than ever before; so to that end please allow me to pose a question or two we may need to consider seriously and truthfully as I believe they have bearing on our eternity.

• Do we abide by our walk with YHWH Yeshua out of a religion based on mans interpretations of the Bible, or in a relationship based on the revelation of His Word through His Ruach?
• DO WE REALLY WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH THAT SETS US FREE OR NOT?
• Does the future Bride have any Biblical rites or authority to override the authority and decisions of Yeshua as given by Abba YHWH? 
• Does the Biblically instituted Marriage between man and woman really mirror the Marriage between Yeshua and His Bride?

I believe the time has arrived when not only those reading this blog, or the many, many others dedicated to this subject, but every single man and woman living in the Western world will need to decide if they are now to cross the Rubicon or not in regards to their moral and spiritual lives and their relationship with YHWH. 

I in no way advocate violence or insurrection against any of the governances of the day - but what I do advocate is adherence to the Instructions of our Master and King Yeshua as laid out fully in His entire Word and through His LIFE (Matt. 5:17-20; Acts 4:19-20): We will not have to look for a "fight", just applying this principle will ensure the attention and vengeance of the world authorities - they will persecute the true believers! (Matt. 10:34-39)

We were called to be light to the world and salt to the earth - are we in mortal danger of losing our light and our flavour?  I believe we most definitely are; I believe we have traded our heritage and birthrights for a portion of lentil soup given us by our governments and are now getting our just deserts.

However, it is not too late to repent of our sins and begin to live as children of the light as led by The Ruach HaKodesh as HE leads us back to the Old and Proven Paths in this Last Day Revival (1 John 3:4ff; James 2:14-26; John 16:12-15; Jer. 6:16 arw Jer 16:14-21).

We all have the inalienable right to choose - no governing authority can take that away from us.

May YHWH have mercy on us!

Trials and persecution bring relationships

If anybody were to ask me what my greatest frustration in life is I would definitely have to think about it, but way up at the top of the list has to be the seeming inability for the "believers" to understand what SIN according to the Bible is and the consequences of this sin we commit!

YHWH never created SIN.  Just as YHWH never created darkness - darkness is just the absence of the created light source.  

Darkness exists WHEN THERE IS NO LIGHT!

SIN exists WHEN THERE IS NO LAW (Torah)! (Ps. 119:105; Prov. 4:18; John 1:-5; 1:14; 1 John 3:4-10)

We, as a body of believers, pride ourselves in all our religious works and theological understanding of Who we think YHWH Elohim really is.  We all seem to have a concept of Who Elohim is based on our denominational theology which is largely based on the teachings and understandings of man (The Church Fathers) BUT NOT ON THE LIFE, INSTRUCTIONS AND WARNINGS OF YESHUA HIMSELF! (Matt. 5:17-20; 6:25-34; 7:21-23; Mk 7:13).

We seem to think that YHWH is just there as our "Lucky Charm" to be at our beck and call when we need HIM to do what we want HIM to do!  We do not realise that at re-birth in Messiah we definitely receive eternal forgiveness for our sin but the consequences of that sin remain in effect and only YHWH through YESHUA our Messiah can deal with those consequences as HE see fits in Mercy and Grace!  (Many examples in The Bible, David, Samson, Moshes (Moses), Miriam - or modern day example a prostitute comes to repentance but still dies or AIDS; a smoker comes to repentance and stops smoking but still dies of a smoking related disease etc).

It is my personal belief that many believers do not know what Biblically defined SIN is because it has never been taught to them by the Church system, a religious system which separated itself from the Hebrew Roots of the Christian Faith and this includes separation from the 10 Commandments:  Thus to most of us the denominational systems has become a stumbling blocks preventing us from enjoying a full relationship with the Creator Elohim, YHWH and His Son Yeshua.  This move towards this religious persuasions has breached the boundaries of purely incorrect doctrine and now has become a religious spirit which has engendered in our lives idol worship which has taken the place of the True YHWH Elohim of The Bible.

I personally do not believe that there is a single person on planet earth who does not have a "god" of sorts which he or she worships - I agree that we do not always call our "personal gods" god or even acknowledge that they are there:  However they are certainly there as evidenced through the Hebrew word translated as God in our Bibles and which is Strongs H430 = elohiym the plural of  H433 from the root H193 = ul an unused root meaning to twist, be strong, the body, also powerful, mighty, strength.

Doing a further study on this word we see it also means magistrate, idol, any deity.  So basically any person, thing, thought, system, food, relationship, idol, attitude and what/whoever else we allow to have authority over us and influence our lives to such a degree that "it" prevents us from following YHWH, The Elohim of Israel, The Elohim of the Bible fully, we have made our god and the authority with controls over our lives!

Obviously it is our inalienable right granted us by our Creator YHWH Elohim, to choose to live our lives as we see fit, BUT because of our fallen nature we will always choose against HIM when left to our own thoughts precisely because we are blind to HIS Kingdom and Instructions because of our sin and iniquity and this is further compounded and bolstered by incorrect doctrines, thus YHWH through the Redeeming Work of Yeshua, revealed to us by His Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), begins to woo us back to Him if we so accept so that we can once again enter His Kingdom of Light but again though we have the right to choose or decline. (Rom 3:23; 1 Cor. 15:50; Eph. 2:1-10) 

I wonder if any of you reading this have ever had to repent before YHWH in "sackcloth & ashes" as Job did because he (Job), through the trials and tribulations that were allowed to come across his life, was caused to realise that he did not know (intimately walk with and submit to) YHWH, and only "worshipped" a religious concept of Who he (Job) thought HE was?   (Job 42:1-6)

How many of us have found out that we, like Job, think we know better as to how YHWH should conduct HIS affairs in relation to our lives and life matters?

Have we yet discovered within our own lives, family and society at large that in this fallen world we will be confronted with death, divorce, separations, rejections, bankruptcies, persecutions and much, much more?

Have we yet, when faced with these travesties, blamed YHWH because HE did not stop them and He is a seemingly unfriendly and unapproachable Elohim?

Have we yet discovered that all the well intentioned advice that our "fellow believers" give us according to their doctrinal humanistic belief system just does not cut it?  

Have we ever sat before our "spiritual/religious" leaders and found that they offer only empty words and that they themselves, like us, seem to be adrift on this ocean of life without a rudder?  That they too have feet of clay?

Have we yet finally arrived at that place where all our best thought out plans are washed up, our reasoning seemingly falls on deaf ears, the situation is hopeless and we are totally battered and defeated by the sheer lunacy of the Jericho rising up before us - that moment when we lie on the floor in a heap and cry out WHY to this seemingly deaf and cruel Elohim that we have been taught about?  Some at that moment even rue the day we were born and consider putting an end to it all - but heaven forbid that you should arrive here BECAUSE YHWH HAS A PLAN FOR US ALL, A PLAN TO PROSPER US AND GIVE US A HOPE AND A FUTURE IN HIM!!

But if we have arrived at these stations in our confused and shattered lives, well then welcome because NOW YHWH can start to become our Elohim: NOW YHWH Elohim can start to become our Hope and our Strength: NOW YHWH Elohim can start to become our Tower of Refuge to Whom we flee: NOW YHWH can now begin to ween us from the fruit of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil and begin to feed us on The Fruit of The Tree of ETERNAL LIFE - YESHUA HAMASHIACH, THE WORD & THROUGH HIS RUACH HAKODESH (HOLY SPIRIT)!

Oh dear brother and sister in Messiah Yeshua do we not yet understand that YHWH Yeshua told us that HE had come with the Sword of division and not peace on our terms: He comes with a double edged Sword (Spirit of The Word) which cuts both ways - IT cuts both us and those it is directed towards?  (Matt. 10:34-39; Eph. 6:17; Rev. 1:16; 2:12, 16)

One of the first lessons we may need to learn is that our Messiah did not come to judge but to heal us by taking on our SIN (breaking of The Law - Torah) and reconcile us to The Father so that our sins can be forgiven - so that we now have the right to cast all our burdens onto HIM and receive in return HIS Yoke (Torah) which is light!   (John 3:17; 2 Cor. 5:18-21; Ps. 55:22; Matt. 11:28; 1 Pt. 5:7; Matt. 11:30)

You see dear brethren the situations we are so often faced with are brought about by our own sin and choices or by the sin and choices of those close to us whom we love so dearly: Those we have trusted and invested our lives into! 

Can you see then that these are not choices that YHWH has made for us, but choices we have or have had made for ourselves and which have moved us into the blindness of the realm of darkness.

However it is not all lost, here I believe is a key we have not really be introduced to yet, and which HE is introducing us to at this time - please allow me to write in the first person here to illustrate my point:  

YHWH, is more interested in my growth and relationship with HIM than that of my wife and children - BECAUSE ONLY WHEN I AM SURRENDERED TO HIM CAN HE THEN USE ME TO BE A PROPHET AND PRIEST TO MY HOUSE giving those under my care the food from The Tree of LIFE HE wishes to feed them at the appropriate time! 

You see dear reader Until that time of my personal surrender to HIM I am just a clanging gong and a noisy cymbal and any advice I offer, even if out of the Bible, is at best a good and honourable attempt to help my loved ones and at worst a vain effort to manipulate, which we all know is akin to a controlling spirit and judgement - We are told that no matter how honourable and honest our intentions may be if they, our intentions, are not, inspired, supported and to the Glory of YHWH through HIS Ruach (Spirit) OUR WORKS REMAIN FILTHY RAGS BEFORE HIS EYES AND WILL ALWAYS BE A FRUIT FROM THE CURSED & DAMNED TREE OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL DEVOID OF YHWH's SPIRIT AND THUS JUST FLESH AND IT WILL LEAD TO DEATH!  (Lk. 6:37:42; 1 Cor. 13:1ff (here we see the heart of The Father as shown to us by Yeshua and which Abba needs us to begin to exhibit as His Redeemed Children); Is. 64:6 (I realise this is not "churchy politically correct language" but the word translated as "Filthy" H5708 - ed = menstrual rags); Jer. 17:9; 1 Cor. 1:29; 3:21; Gen. 2:15-17) 

Messiah Yeshua was sent to call us to be His Bride and to rule with HIM, and as HIS Bride we are now in the process of being separated from the world and all its false gods and idols so that we can start to begin to rely on our Betrothed and not on our own flesh and vain imaginations.  

As with any marriage, if the husband and wife do not pull in the same yoke the house is divided and will collapse. In the same vein the husband and wife are called to be one, never two separate entities!

Well just as these conditions apply to us in the here and now, they also apply to our relationship with Messiah and that condition can only be achieved by us accepting His proposal of Redemption and invitation to enter into a Marriage Covenant with Him as defined in the Book of Exodus at Mt. Sinai and then being led into doing the same works as HE did, and even greater, by His Ruach (Spirit). (Is. 55:8-11; Jer. 17:5-8; Mk. 3:24-25, Mk. 14:12)

So dear reader to break His Marriage proposal is akin to SINNING and dividing HIS HOUSE: Yeshua needed to die to have our Sins (Breaking of the Marriage Proposal) forgiven: Surely we can understand that now we can no longer deliberately break His Covenant? 

The terrible news however is that if once accepted we continue to break HIS Covenant deliberately HE will hand us over to our own filthy and futile minds (Rom. 1:18-32; 1 Cor. 5:1-5), BUT HALLELUJAH we see in the warning given us in Rom. 2 that no one is to judge those YHWH does indeed hand over to their futile minds because we are all guilty of sin and this necessitated handing-over is to bring us all to repentance (2:4). We sorely need to  remember that we all are far from the finish line in this race of life, and the measure with which we judge we too will be judged! Let us admonish those in the Covenant in Love as led by The Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit), but never those who have not yet accepted HIS Gracious offer of Salvation - LEAVE THEM ALONE THEY ARE STILL NEEDING TO CHOOSE YHWH's OFFER OF REDEMPTION & ARE THEREFORE NOT YET PART OF THE REDEEMED FAMILY. This is again a very simple principle - I, in the here and now, have a right to lovingly admonish my children and those of my family, BUT I would really be acting out of my area of authority in telling a complete stranger how to live his life! (Mk. 6:37-38; 1 Cor. 5:12; 1 Thes. 5:14-15; 1 Tim3:15-17)

In this transfer from the Kingdom of Darkness (before Messiah - spiritual re-birth) to the Kingdom of Light (through HIS Redemption) we will all face this process of trials and tribulations and it is never ever easy. The truth being we got ourselves where we are through sin and rebellion  and now we have to die unto self (i.e. Ideas, Religions, Relationships, Systems, Opinions and much more) to get out! This process cannot be achieved by our own works and religious machinations - it can only be achieved through YHWH's plans for our lives which HE leads us into through His Ruach (Spirit).

Here is a massively incomprehensible concept to the human mind which will need to be applied during this process of dying to self which we allow HIM to lead us into:  

We are commanded to praise and worship HIM in Spirit and Truth, thank Him in Truth and Righteousness as our world and all around us, sometimes even our entire means of support and survival crumble in the Tribulations and trials of life - BECAUSE THIS PROCESS WILL PRODUCE IN US THE VERY CHARACTER OF MESSIAH YESHUA HIMSELF AS RECORDED IN 1 COR. 13.  WE ARE GIVEN THEN AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW AS TO HOW TO LIVE THIS LIFESTYLE OUT & THAT EXAMPLE IS MESSIAH HIMSELF WHO HAD TO LEARN OBEDIENCE THROUGH HIS OWN SUFFERINGS! (Hab. 3:16-19; Rom. 5:3-5; James 1:2-8; Heb. 5:5-10)

So brethren the time to throw of the shackles of religion and put on the cloak of relationship and praise may have arrived for us. Let us lift up our hands in praise because in HIM the blind will see, the sick shall be healed, the lame will walk, the deaf will hear, the dead shall be raised SPIRITUALLY AND PHYSICALLY IN HIS PERFECT TIMING AND PERFECT WAY BECAUSE HE HAS STARTED A GOOD WORK IN US AND HE WILL COMPLETE  IT ACCORDING TO HIS WILL AND HIS COVENANT, NOT ACCORDING TO OUR WILL AND OUR DENOMINATIONAL COVENANTS! 

HE is a Good Shepherd and HE promises us HE never tempts us, but HE does use this means as applied by Satan, within prescribed parameters, to temper and strengthen His Betrothed. We are also promised that YHWH will never allow us to be tempted or tested above what we can bear, and when such testing arrives HE will show us the way out and grant us a peace which surpasses all understanding. (James 1:12-16; 4:7; Job 1:12; 2:6; Mat. 28:18; 1 Cor. 10:11-14; Phl. 4:4-7)

We are free to walk this path with Yeshua and accept HIS Hand in our lives, the choice is ours: Will you and your house choose to serve YHWH The Elohim of Israel? Will you choose life and not death? (Josh. 2415; Deut. 30:19)

The bottom line is this:  Whether we accept YHWH's Hand in our life or not we will still experience death, divorce, heartache and the rest - The Choice is ours: So will we allow what life throws at us to embitter us OR shall we accept HIS Help acknowledging that we do not have all the answers to lifes' problems and questions - BUT HE has all the answers, all the Strength and all The Love we will ever need for now and eternity - both for us and our loved ones! 

I leave you all with this promise:

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the YHWH, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.  And I will be found of you, saith the YHWH: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the YHWH; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive. (Jer.29:11-14 ESV)
